As of January 1, 2027, Anema and ELM will join forces as the joint importer of Hyundai in the Netherlands.
With a nationwide dealer network, which will be further developed in the coming period, both parties are committed to the continued growth of the brand.
Anema and ELM intend to jointly take on the Hyundai importership for the Netherlands as of January 1, 2027. With their experience as Develon importer, knowledge of the market, and existing sales and service organizations, the companies aim to further develop the brand and strengthen Hyundai's position in the Netherlands.
Responding to market developments
For Anema and ELM, the intended importership offers the opportunity to build on their experience in the earthmoving sector and to further develop Hyundai in the Dutch market."Road construction is changing rapidly and requires partners who think ahead and take decisive action. With Hyundai, together with ELM, we are taking an important step to respond to these developments. We choose Hyundai because of the progressive manufacturer, the power, and the ambition to meet our customers' needs. That fits well with who we are and where we want to go as Anema," says Almer Anema, director of Anema Arum.
Investing in a nationwide dealer network
An important part of the plans is to build and support a sustainable nationwide dealer network. Anema and ELM want to provide dealers with strong support in sales, parts supply, and service. In doing so, they aim to ensure good national coverage and reliable service for customers. The companies see great potential in Hyundai and want to capitalize on it by building long-term partnerships with dealers and customers. Their joint ambition is to further develop the brand and lay a solid foundation for structural growth in the Netherlands.
"South Korean manufacturers show every day what they are capable of in terms of quality, innovation, and reliability. With the experience of Anema and ELM, we see plenty of opportunities to further expand Hyundai in the Netherlands. To this end, we will build a dealer network with the same philosophy as ELM: long-term relationships, good service, and keeping agreements. We look forward to building a strong position for Hyundai in the Netherlands together with enterprising dealers," emphasizes Sander de Regt, director of ELM Group.
Hyundai
"Hyundai is experiencing strong growth in Europe and worldwide, thanks to significant investments in the product range and the organization in Europe. Through the collaboration with ELM and Anema, Hyundai Netherlands now also has the desired partners to offer the extensive range to customers. We are proud of this collaboration and look forward to the coming period with confidence," says Bart van Berkel of Hyundai.
Continuity for existing customers and dealers
With the arrival of Hyundai, nothing will change in the existing cooperation and services of Anema and ELM for Develon and ETEC. Customers and dealers can continue to rely on the same trusted support in sales, service, and parts supply. The final agreements are currently being further developed. As soon as more clarity is available, Anema and ELM will share further information.
