Job description:

As a trainee Excavator Mechanic, you will work together under supervision to repair and solve technical problems mainly on excavators. You are enthusiastic, eager to learn and, together with us, ensure that the machines perform optimally again. As an electrical engineering trainee, you will work in our modern workshop and apply your skills to the modification and assembly of Develon earth-moving machines and ETEC Zero Emission excavators according to our customers' specific requirements. What will you do?

• In a large, modern and fully equipped workshop, you will fix electrical, hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions of (excavating) machines.
• Besides excavators, you will sometimes work on related machines (e.g. foundation machines); there are opportunities to specialise further in certain fields.
• Adapting new Develon earthmoving machines to the customer's specific requirements. You will build accessories to customer specifications and equip the machines with additional functions.

• Key skills and especially an affinity for tinkering.
• Good basic motor knowledge or hobby knowledge.
• You follow a course in the direction of mobile equipment, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
• You are independent and have the ambition to further develop yourself as a mechanic and ambassador of ELM!

We are a passionate dealer of DEVELON earthmoving machines and proud manufacturer of ETEC Zero Emission excavators. We are also specialists in custom-made earthmoving machines. We are housed in an impressive 10,000m2 complex, with over 6000m2 of high-quality workshops. We house our own paint shop with two spacious spray booths, a dedicated engineering department and a fully equipped construction department. Here, we have the ability to develop and manufacture machines in-house.
